Core Advantages

Dual-Layer TPU Construction

The structure diagram in the document shows a multi-layer system that includes a surface protection structure, transparent TPU layer, cast-grade TPU polyurethane color layer, lower TPU layer, adhesive layer, and protective release liner.

The cast-grade TPU polyurethane color layer provides the primary color effect, while the transparent TPU layer covers the color layer from the exterior side. The lower TPU layer works together with the adhesive system to support the overall film structure. Positioning the color layer between TPU layers reduces direct exposure of the color layer to the exterior environment and adhesive interface.

Surface and Color Performance

The surface layer provides the exterior finish after installation, while the dedicated TPU polyurethane color layer is responsible for color presentation. Separating these functions between different layers allows the surface finish and color layer to perform independently within the film structure.

The flexible TPU material can conform to automotive body contours such as doors, fenders, roofs, bumpers, and other curved panels. The film can be cut and wrapped according to different vehicle geometries during installation.

Installation and Removal

The sandwiched TPU structure is designed to reduce the risk of delamination and hydrolysis during long-term use while also considering the effect of film removal on the original paint surface. A dedicated adhesive layer connects the film to the vehicle paint, allowing the product to be used for removable automotive color-change applications when installed and removed under appropriate conditions.

Applications

Suitable for full vehicle color changes, partial wraps, contrast-color designs, and exterior customization. It can be used on passenger cars, SUVs, electric vehicles, and commercial vehicles, particularly in applications where the original paint needs to remain covered and the vehicle may later be restored to its original appearance.
